Anxiety

Everyone can experience it at some point in their lives but not everyone is lucky enough to be able to manage these natural responses. Nobody likes to have anxiety but sometimes it can play an important role as a response to help us adapt to dangers, threats or unnecessary stressors.

This receptor work with serotonin across the brain, and is found in density in the hippocampus and cerebral cortex. These two areas of our brain are all involved in anxiety and mood disorders and when CBD is at work, it promotes neurogenesis in these parts of the brain that are responsible for emotions and the autonomic nervous system. CBD has been discovered to stimulate these areas enough to invoke wide spread anti-anxiety effects.

Some of these experiments are far and few between but the successful trials so far have provided a positive outlook on how we can move forward with CBD and treating anxiety-related disorders. Scientists are eager to find a natural solution that could benefit many users who are experiencing harsh side effects or increasing stress with the prescriptions that were provided to them.
